As part of the “Paint the Town Redding” initiative, Visit Redding collaborated with Redding Electric Utility to enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal. I was honored to be one of 22 artists selected to transform utility boxes into vibrant works of art throughout downtown Redding.

The artists were given free range to create a mural of their choosing. my subject was the California dogface butterfly, california’s very own state insect.
