Behind The Type

Arbour Regular was created to visualize the nostalgia and introspection portrayed in the album, Old Growth by Arbour. The strokes of each letterform have been drawn over multiple times to mimic the carving of wood. There is an Arts and Crafts influence that reflects in the angle of the curves and accents such as the descenders in the capitals. Listening to Arbour’s album releases a sense of loneliness and timelessness someone would feel when thinking of a moment in their life that will live immortally in a memory.
